Need a very critical Appliance Replacement Recommendation

My 8 yr old 3/4 hp kenmore garbage disposal is going faintly brrrrrrrrrrr when I turn it on w no disposing going on.
Would like to order a great one from home depot, online, or lowes. Quietness and warranty and disposing performance are of most importance.
Recommend away gents.

Don't overthink it. It's a garbage disposal.

Stay away from Home Depot appliances

Look up one you want on homedepot.com then find the same one on another site for cheaper, go to home depot and tell them you are interested in that but the price, they should knock off some money, then show them the add and they will match, and if you are nice you can talk them into lowering that price as well.

Why ? My company installs 100s of them a year with no problems.
OP - just upgrade from a 1/3 hp to a 1/2 hp and you should be fine. Home Depot has two lines. We install the cheaper "badger" series but the upgraded line is supposed to be quieter and better. I've heard good things about it. Good luck

Would I need those frequently bought together gadgets?

GE from Sears with warranty. May not be the 'best' but seems like a good deal due to large chain, known brand, warranty.

This. When we remodeled our kitchen several years ago, we got rid of that noisy Badger unit, and upgraded to the Insinkerator insulated unit, and it is super quiet.
It cost about $100 more than the Badger (about 200-220 before tax), and it is worth it.

No, if you're just replacing one everything that you'll need will be in the box.
I've only used Waste Kings and they are quiet and bulletproof.
