I do not care for the noise a shibumi makes.

I lived in Mexico beach for 7 years. Neso tents are the bomb. No stakes required and very wind proof. Matter of fact they kinda need a little wind. Good up to about 20 mph

Thats why you need a big gurl. Warm in the winter and shady in the summer.

sand screws and some basic beach umbrellas.
If you’re not at a place where they rent them with an attendant, this is the answer.

When the sun shines, we'll shine together
Told you I'll be here forever
Said I'll always be your friend
Took an oath, I'ma stick it out to the end
Now that it's raining more than ever
Know that we'll still have each other
You can stand under my umbrella, ella, ella, eh, eh, eh

We own 2 Cool Cabanas and love them. They qualify has umbrellas so the beach Nazis who don't allow tents can't make you take them down.
The 4 corner panels fill with sand. We have withstood some crazy wind with no damage or risk of flying away. Plenty of pockets and storage too.

Those shades look cool but I bet they aren’t as easy to set up as advertised.

We always err on going with the shade setup that blocks the most view of others.

I use a Shibumi in GI every weekend. I can put it up by myself in under 5 minutes.
They are great. Only downside to me is if there is a shifting wind. That's usually not a big issue at the beach, but it happens. Takes very little wind to keep it up and it breaks down into a very small bag. The noise doesn't bother me and is only noticeable in significant winds.
The Nescos look nice too, just more work setting up.

Bought one last year and any time the breeze picked up slightly, the sand bag anchors would be pulled and the tent would start to sag. Waste of money.

This is what i bought... I'm the family pack mule so i try to keep it as light as possible. This thing collapses into a bag about the size of a loaf of bread. One good thing is it will stay up without wind unlike the wind sock types. On the beach, there's a bag at the end of each rope that you fill with sand to hold it down. At home, you can use tent stakes to set it up. And it's a fraction of the cost of the wind sock type.

I have the same one that poochie does ^^^ the UMARDOO.
Theres a couple brands of them. They are light, so easy to transport. holds up better than umbrellas in wind.

This is what I would go for. Easily portable, lots of shade.

Well like I said, I used one with no issues for 7 years, and probably close to a hundred days a year. You have to bury your bags. Not too deep, just enough to fit the bag and keep it from sliding.
