He’s 45lbs! Are you serious? Pop that little boys arse a few times

I have done that. It makes him go legit insane and act like an animal. Then its like a Mexican standoff.
You’re a grown man. No 4 yr old should be punking you down.
Get control of your house now or it will control you later.
If your not firm and solid as an oak on your threats of punishment they will run all over you. My wife hates when she says a punishment in frustration and I hold her to it. Tell kid they have to sit with us at the gym all night, her tail is going to be sitting right by you.
If you think he’s got issues talk to your pediatrician and fine a therapist.

I like it. Basically just break his will. He will get in line after that. It worked on all three of mine.

I could swing him around and beat his butt, that has nothing to do with it. It's not modifying his behavior.
His mother can't control him, which means it becomes a major problem.
Beating the child into submission isn't the objective.

I don't think he is autistic.
Unless you can tell me where you received your medical degree, I’d advise getting an expert opinion on the matter.

You gotta show him who’s in charge and frick his mom.

He’s 3, nut up and whip his little arse. After several arse whippings, he’ll learn his lesson. The fact that you can’t control a midget is embarrassing.

It is really sad how relieved I am to hear that.
Can't believe some people are so quick to hit a kid.

You definitely need to seek some help NOW!!!!
Have a friend whose some is autistic and the fixations is absolutely a sign.

Read Raising Men by Eric Davis. LINK
Also, he’s 3. My oldest son turned a corner around 6. He’s wonderful now. My youngest son was an angel up until 5. This past year, he was defiant, but getting better as he gets close to 6 years old. Boys are different and will mature when ready. Stay the course and be patient.

You can get him evaluated my medical professionals. The school system also has an Early Steps program to identify children with possible special needs. You can contact your local district. They will test your child for free and in some cases provide free therapy services.

Parents just don't parent anymore and the snowball just gets bigger when they get older. Discipline = freedom folks. It's not that hard!!!!

How much exercise is he getting? Maybe take him on long walks, or hikes, or build something in the backyard. Does he has simple chores like feeding pets?

We did that. Jeff Davis Parish worker said he was the highest scoring kid she had personally seen. His comprehension and vocabulary were advanced.
Still...we have issues.
We'll set up an appt with an occupational therapist I suppose. Is that where you go?

This thread is a good reminder of the OT intelligence level. Defiant, possibly on the spectrum son and the responses are "you don't WHIP that boy enough!"

2. One with a sensory disorder, but there’s a difference between a sensory disorder and being a defiant little shite and this kid sounds as tho he’s the latter.

Don’t try to rationalize in here. Everything, and I mean everything, is a mental health issue now.
