Your best bet would be to put up an ad at LSU and try to hit up a CSC student that knows what they are doing.

No, that is not.

That's an individual service that I don't believe anyone will do on a 300-500 a month contract.

Who do you think most of the employees in this market of those companies are? Huge % of them are LSU students in CSC or ISDS.

if he is wanting to be cheap that's an option.

I know when I did that type of work while I was at LSU, I was one of only 2 employees and my boss was living in CCLA while paying me min wage. There were far less places doing that type of work back then though.

That's extremely cheap. OP should call them.

Try Immense Networks. They're awesome guys and worth every penny for what they provide.

Based upon my team's May performance, I was told by my boss on June 1st to start "sucking less."

The people we use now suck to an exponential rate. We have a small office of about 10 people. Can anyone recommend a solid IT company that is also not obscenely pricey. Thanks

This dude is local LSU Alumni and barely any overhead. I've sent him to several small businesses(not a big IT Budget) and been very happy.

$300 is maybe 3.5 hours from a decent company. So, is OP just paying that and anything over X hours is billable? What kind of work is the company actually doing?

I'll make everything not suck for $185/hr.

I don't disagree.

The company should have just been honest with him, though.

For something that small, straight billable is the only way to go.

Generally though, the SMB space has no budget for IT and all the need.

To think that an office of 10 people can run without spending around $10K a year for support is not very realistic.
