I really hope those aren’t eyes. I mean WTF

Honestly since he sources it all himself it’s probably relatively safe, but just impractical for most people.

Sorta like the ridiculous Tom Brady diet.

That baw has never been chicken sick before. If he had, every piece of chicken he'd come in contact with would meet a flamethrower....twice just to be safe.

Properly butchered meat from quality animal farms (not animal factories) can be consumed raw without problems. Your gut would need to adjust initially but after a while wouldnt be an issue.

So he does a standard keto or carnivore diet except with raw meat. Gross.

I just recently started following Liver King on Instagram. Similar concept where he eats a whole lot of raw liver but idk about all his proteins. He’s also insanely jacked and compares himself to our “primal ancestors”.

Not the road im willing to travel for a six pack.

As long as the meat is very fresh and washed thoroughly or frozen immediately in a vacuum seal it won’t have salmonella.

My grandfather had a lab and business where he created a process that used an organic solution and a vacuum tumbler that throughly cleaned produce and meat and eliminated ecoli and salmonella, increasing shelf life by 2-3 weeks fit foods. Some small processors use it but never could get the big places like Tyson to buy into it because they like spoilage it increases their sales volume and QC would never admit to a potential bacteria problem. Pieces of corporate shite

Anyways you absolutely can eat raw meat if it’s really fresh and cleaned. But if it sits in the fridge a day or two bacteria accumulates. It says he locally sources his meat so I assume he goes and picks it up right after it comes off the animal

Still not tasty though. I’d at least season and cook the meat and get the same results health wise

Cooking can oxidize and destroy nutrients. Research why cooks y pressed oils are so much healthier than non cold pressed.

my argument is wasn't cooked foods being easier to digest what allowed human brains to grow and made us the apex species

My wife’s grandmother is from Germany. I was introduced to Tartar which is made with raw ground beef, one egg yolk, salt, pepper, impulsed onions, and Italian seasoning, and a sauce called Maggi. Mix it up raw and let chill, then spread it on a German rye bread slice. First time I tried it I was really reluctant, thought it was ok but not a big fan. That was 12 years ago. Now it’s one of my favorite dishes we only eat it maybe 3 times a year. We have never been sick yet. Texture is not bad. Raw chicken has to be difficult to stomach.

There is a report claiming that a Chinese man nearly died when his entire body was taken over by tapeworms after he ate contaminated sashimi, or slices of raw fish. The man, said to be from the Guangdong Province, went to the hospital complaining of stomach pains and x-rays showed tiny parasites crawling throughout every inch of his body. Apparently his sashimi contained tapeworm eggs.

I can spare the calories.

I've found by telling them

... Sear it. I'd rather raw than rare...

I have finally found something every chef can understand.
