We’re at my MIL’s house right now. My son got a stackable Rigid Toolbox, daughter got a bunch of art pens and canvases. My wife got an air fryer.
I cleaned up with an Eduard 1:48 scale Bf-110C and a Tamiya 1:35 scale Sd.kfz.184 Schwerer Jagdpanzer Elfant.

Got one of my granddaughters (7 years old and already into engineering) this robot building kit .... 18 different robots. The brain (microprocessor) is solar powered.
Pretty cool stuff. Gears and drive trains and wheels and different body shapes and arms ... really neat. Has eyes and avoids running into things.
These little robots are hand sized, small, but very detailed, well designed.

Hobby Lobby has some nice models. I go look at them the same way I did when I was a kid, but haven't bought any. This post maybe the inspiration I need to make that move.
