31 upvotes when federal minimum wage hasn’t changed and this study asserts “80% of Americans” which would imply states without unique minimum wages are also contributing.

It’s not minimum wage.

You really trying to compare the productivity of workers in Denmark to the US? You probably need 3 US workers per Denmark worker. GTFO with this dumb argument.

Worst part is, it’s still cheaper than eating healthy.

In what way?

I can go to sams or Aldi and grab a 5 pound pack of chicken breast for $15, a sack of sweet potatoes and frozen broccoli for $25

Then have 7oz of chicken, 150grams of potatoes and a serving of broccoli for lunch and dinner for 4-5 days

No one is paying min wage.

You people are delusional. Do you want to be right for once? The problem is our Federal fiscal policy, period.

in before SFP explains to the OT, in the most demeaning way possible, that the expenditure of billions of federal tax dollars is simply a drop in the bucket. no big deal, just ignore it. inflation is a good thing actually.

Wendy's used to have 4 for $4. Best deal in fast food. Not sure if they still have it.

They aren’t paying $15 across the country, which is what the person I was replying to was claiming. Are you stupid?

Productivity of the employee is a fair argument. Minimum wage is not. They are two separate discussions.

Exactly this. Fast food is a luxury. If you can’t afford it, plan and make a sandwich before leaving home. PBJ is not a luxury item.
