The judge is thinking he will be of greater service to society making money, paying taxes, employing people. Also maturing to better himself after a bad decision as an immature 17 yo, can influence the knuckleheads out there who look up to him, to change their ways. And his children will certainly have a better chance in life if he is still around and making $ to support them instead of sending them to the same broken cycle many go through.

There's a tmz video I think, of him manhandling his girlfriend. After he roughed her up in GA they went to Tallahassee for a show. GA charged him with battery and kidnappng. The GF says it's all just a misunderstanding.
