All in roughly $775.00. How did everyone else do?
Could have used that and got a hotel room. frick dealing with all that nonsense after a major hurricane.
What hotel are staying in for 6 nights for $775.00 that roaches don’t scatter when you turn on the lights?

Hotel rooms were few and far between, most don’t want dogs and cats which is my situation, then if you get one you get to come home to clean out the refrigerator, and freezer, and deal with possible mold issues.

Didn’t lose power for very long this storm, but based on several short outages my 20KW Cummings cost around $1.58:hour run in the summer with normal AC setting.

Ran 3 days. Total bill of $138. Normally my bill runs $50.

That’s not bad at all, my pool heater runs me that much in the winter.

20kw diesel. I put some where around 250 hours on it and burnt about 190 gallons. 0.8gal/hr is right on par. Most of the diesel was free.
Was out of power for 14 days. 8/29-9/11.

Now do the same amount of running using the new Build Back Better natural gas price.
