Metro Development Group and Crystal Lagoons have teamed up to bring America’s first man-made clear water lagoon to Central Florida.

The ‘Epperson’ project in Wesley Chapel is the first of five ongoing lagoon projects being built in the Sunshine State.

The lagoon will feature:

Kayaking
Stand-up paddleboarding
Sailing on non-motorized sailboats
Private cabanas
Swim-up bar
Tidal pool
Waterslide
Yoga lawn
Restaurants
And much more!
Upon completion, each lagoon uses 50 times less water compared to a park of the same size and 30 times less water than an 18-hole golf course. YouTube : houses start at 250k

I've seen better crystal-clear lagoons at the LSU UREC on my way to the quad

A simple lake would've kept the HOA fees down.

Looks like the kind of place that will have a striking lack of felons among their clientele

I love how everyone is shitting on this concept but if BR were to propose something like this everyone would lose their minds.

I use to swim in abandoned rock pits out in Folsom that were clearer than that.

I've also seen clearer lagoons out in the Quad.

Circling back-

I would think that Sharting whilst paddle boarding on (what was originally) a crystal-clear lagoon would be not a fun.

The water stays clear because illegals aren't allowed. Otherwise they'll turn it into a shithole.
