Non-profit organization PERIOD launched the inaugural Period Day Saturday to call for menstrual equity. The organization held rallies in every U.S. state to discuss period poverty and demand that menstrual products become more accessible.

Do we get this as a paid holiday? What about decorations to celebrate. Needs more clarification

I will never forget my insanely vivid moment of horror and disgust when I discovered that period shits are actually a thing.

You laugh there was serious push to make those items sales tax free in the legislature.

What is next condoms, diapers, baby wipes, over the counter drugs, etc?

Period poverty? Who wants period wealth? And if they become more accessible they’re going to be laying in the streets

How much more accessible do they need to be? I see them all over place and hear about them in restrooms. I think some were already pushing supplies in men’s bathroom for trans.

Women use their period as a reason be more whiny, bitchy, needy, and to get out of taking responsibility for things including flushing tampons down the toilet nearly as much as the true issues they have. Why would they want to put a spotlight on an issue they make sure the men around them are aware of and deal with it at same time and also like to falsely extend the time of the period as an excuse when it suits their needs knowing men will not question it? It’s already basically their version of a get out of jail card on anything they would have normally done anyway.

Between hearing it must be because Period is about to start week before to it’s because “still spotting a little” well after it’s really happening as excuses I am starting to think the week refers to the only week of the month it’s not brought up.

All these needy identity days and months including on social media that people come up with to get attention and end up watering them all down.

Thinking about this, I think I'm fine with the lady folk getting free whatever for the blood that releases out of their body every month for 30-40 years...

I get a ingrown toenail and it's trip to the ER time...blood pouring from my groin?

Nah I'll take my penis, thanks

How many more equity initiatives do we need?

How about the government just make everything free so that all is equitable... I mean who needs that silly thing called capitalism anyway?
