National Guard stationed outside L'auberge Casino in BR.

Looks like they’re stopping and directing cars. I stopped and asked. They said they’re helping with the Food Bank. I could see regular volunteers helping but the Guard?

They help with the testing, too. National guard in tons of other states are helping distribute food. Hardly uncommon. Food banks are staffed by volunteers. You need to add manpower when you have massive lines of cards waiting.

I volunteered at the Celtic Studios shelter after 2016 floods...the Natl. Guard kids were extremely helpful in directing traffic, moving items, unloading donated trucks/trailers.

I don’t understand how all these people need food when there was just an increase on Snap benefits

Because two weeks ago there were millions of employed people who were not eligible for SNAP that are now unemployed and not yet receiving SNAP?

They are having a hold em tournament and you have to be in the national guard to be eligible to play.

People on Snap aren't going to go wait in lines. It's the people that really need snap because of this pandemic that can't get the benefit. The government rewards the wrong type of people.

Close. One one the guards told me the last known whereabouts of Carole Baskin (whoever that is) was in BR. They’re looking to arrest her in the murder of her husband.
