Wait, you're saying if I do percentage "rates" that it will change the 20,000 number? You're really dumb. 20,000 dead people from guns is 20,000 dead people from guns regardless of how you want to spin it. Those 7000+ white people are dead from guns, too. Tell their families they're not.

Daisy Davis is a name circulating. Filed some sort of grievance against covenant school for covering up sexual assault.
Multiple outlets including Fox and NBC has identified suspect as Audrey Hale.. next police press conference expected within the hour

I’m confused if it’s a male to female or female to male tranny
The ignorant police are saying it’s a woman just because he had a vagina.

Is this going to be another time the fake tranny narrative is proven wrong?

My main take regarding gun control is that we need to be identifying these crazy people with mental health issues, and make it so that they can't purchase and own firearms. Not until they've been cleared by a mental health professionally.
People in that class already aren't allowed to lawfully possess a firearm. Identifying everyone who's "crazy" is the difficult part. The only thing that would seemingly address that concern significantly would be requiring a psych eval as a condition to purchase a firearm. However, a law being passed like that wouldn't be realistic because it certainly presents some inherent issues and biases that could prevent sane people from purchasing firearms, not to mention the costs involved and even more government oversight that a majority will never support.

Not realistic in large suburban schools. My High School had like 20 entrances (counting things like where the custodians come and go, the entrance to the sports locker rooms, etc.)
How much money have we sent Ukraine?
If we’re going to spend billions we don’t have, we might as well spend it to keep our schools safe rather than a war that was lost from go.
All schools could be hardened and secured with armed security; but hardening schools isn’t the preferred solution for half of law makers, so it won’t happen.

You're still victim-shaming murders.
You keep wording it with "by guns" and "from guns" and refusing to acknowledge the fact that there was another person on the other end of the gun.

Whether it was a biological male or female is still undetermined.
If that's the shooter, she was (that feels good to type) a biological female (Audrey) that from what I can tell went by Aiden.

Everyone wants to prevent mentally unwell people from being able to exercise their first amendment rights. But the problem is who do we make responsible for making the policy? We have politicians trying to label entire political parties as domestic terrorists and direct threats to democracy.
I don't trust politicians to decide the grey areas that could potentially restrict the rights of it's citizens.
I think that call should be made by mental health professionals. For example, when you've had a guy like the Stoneman Douglas High School. There were multiple red flags on this guy. But somehow he still legally purchased his weapons.
I can agree it gets very murky with this issue. If it's up to Democrats, almost all Republicans should be considered mentally unwell. If it's up to Republicans, almost all Democrats would be considered mentally unwell.

I don't disagree. There's pros and cons to having a large school. Funding is better and goes further at a larger school but the ability to give struggling students the help they need is typically a problem.
It also goes hand-in-hand with growing cities, growing neighborhoods, growing churches, etc. We have consistently diluted and devalued any sense of community we have had in the majority of this country. As a result we have lost connection and accountability to others. We don't know our neighbors, therefore we don't care about our neighbors.
Just my opinion, of course.

This argument started from someone comparing USA GUN murders to UK knife related violence. Try to keep up moron.

People who are still subject to biases. How do you run checks and balances?
If one mental health professional says you're unfit but another one clears you, does that still prevent you from purchasing one? Who is responsible for determining which of those professionals is correct? Or are you forever red-flagged by someone who might have an agenda?

Not what you thought probably. Sure, black have the highest "rates" but don't act as if whites don't get murdered by guns. Happens everyday....this thread is about six whites being killed.
so a country of around 200,000,000 white people with 7,000 gun murders per year (1 every 28,500 people) compared to a country of around 45,000,000 blacks with 12,000 gun murders a year (1 every 3,750 people) isn't a significant difference?
