Someone saw the rope pull, thought it was a noose, and then the corporate chain took over.

Ignoring that there is no public evidence that the pull rope was the alleged noose, we also have to believe a bunch of people that work in racetrack garages nearly every weekend mistook a garage door pull rope for noose. We then have to assume this person, or people, reported it NASCAR officials, who also spend a good deal of time in racetrack garage areas, and also mistook a garage door pull for a noose.

Or is the argument that they just completely made the whole thing up?

Talladega redid their garages before the fall race last year to add a fan experience. This rope may have only been there 1 race prior to this most current one. So people not familiar with it, may have just jumped to conclusions about it.

Here is a cut down video where the picture that says November 2019 may come from. I am more of the assumption it comes from October 2019 when then fall race at Talladega was held.

yea or we could assume someone snuck into an area with cameras everywhere to leave a noose that we dont have a picture of for a guy that is more white than black. lets not act like the alternative is very believable.

It sounds like "clown world", but you have these same exact situations playing out literally last week in California

In Oakland, one random person on twitter mistook ropes used for swings/exercise equipment as "nooses" (and the news RAN with the story)

Even called in the FBI.

ABC News on the follow up LINK

quote:

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Oakland’s mayor said five ropes found hanging from trees in a city park are nooses and racially-charged symbols of terror but a resident said they are merely exercise equipment that he put up there months ago.

Local black dude said they are used as swings, but that still didn't stop the mayor...

quote:

‘Intentions Don't Matter': Oakland Mayor on Ropes Found Hanging at Lake Merritt

It was literally ropes with knots in them.

So stop acting as if hoaxes/overreactions isn't a logical conclusion

Don't forget about the super scary LSU "noose"

Rope swing? Go along the rivers and creeks here that people tube down and you will see nooses everywhere, when it is just kids making rope swings.

Okay, that would make more sense if that is the case.

I saw a video this morning of Wallace throwing water on a driver sitting on the ground. He threw the water as though he was mad. Did this happen after the race yesterday? If so, he threw water on a guy that pushed his vehicle in support of him yesterday. He’s an idiot if this is the case.

We shall overcome.

Ok so why are people mad at Bubba?

I don't think they should be mad at Bubba.

Nobody knows anything for sure, but there's plenty to lead us to believe that there was no noose.

With everyone saying it's the pull rope wouldn't NASCAR come out and say we're wrong? Also new pictures show the ropes untied. It was definitely the pull rope. Another hoax. NASCAR has zero respect for their longtime fans.

Imagine if he would have actually seen a noose.

It's certainly very possible. Maybe even more likely than not, but of the last few pages of this thread I have read, it appears a lot of people treat it as a fact based on their preconceptions rather than waiting for more information.

Can you think of 2 places with more cameras around than a NASCAR track and a Las Vegas casino/hotel? Yet no footage in both cases. We are being played.

And this is why.

quote:

The noose wasn’t the only racist symbol on display on Sunday. Outside the speedway, Confederate banners were raised in defiance of the recent ban, and Confederate memorabilia was sold across the street. A plane flew over Talladega with the flag and a banner reading, “Defund NASCAR.”

I think it’s despicable that NASCAR’s tracks are in loops

Like the loop of a NOOSE.

I’m afraid they’ll have to change the shape

They are using a caricature of a 1960s southern racist to boost their standing. Nobody still acts like these strawman racists that are fighting NASCAR. They're using this to move up to the cool kids table.

This is a result of seeing this story play out over and over again with the same result 99% of the time.

SO Bubba Wallace never actually saw the noose? Does someone have a link to this fact?
