Well, to be fair, It wasn’t the flag that flew over the country that protected the institution of slavery for some 90 odd years. It just flew over battle fields to distinguish one army from another.

What are the correct reasons? support a rogue nation that went against the constitution because they wanted to keep owning people and forcing them to do work and refuse to industrialize.

What are you talking about. America itself was founded on secession and a Declaration of Independence. It was even taught at West Point as a right of passage for people who choose their own government and governors for themselves, a fundamental principle of America’s birth as a nation.

It’s just fabric. That’s all. The battle flag is a soldier’s flag. That’s it’s original intent and why it was designed, to stop confusion on smoke filled battlefields when troops were rallying to the wrong flags as the onion flag and the CSA National flag looked too similar.

I dont know man. I personally think the battle flag deserves to be flown at museums, over confederate cemeteries, battlefields, and re-inactments, I just find the absurdity of the arguments, well, absurd, and the pandering and arse kissing nauseating. If NASCAR had done this in say June of last year, or whatever, I probably couldn’t have given two shits one way or another, but its the climate of all this bending the knee shite thats making me ill, and it comes off as really weak and not deserving of much respect either because if it weren’t for Floyd, they wouldnt have done anything about the flags being flown, but because they are feeling heat and wanting to conform, they decided to make this move. That’s the only reason. It’s just pussy and not a sincere move.

NO.... People are scared of being labeled by bullies who has leveled extremely unfair attacks on them, and so rather than stand up for what they believe, they cave to the pressure. That’s what is going on, and its not sincere. It’s out of fear.
