I didn’t save for anything. My parents would just buy it if I really wanted it.

Remington 870 20 gauge. $269 at Walmart a looong time ago. Took me almost a whole summer of mowing yards.

In high school, my brother and I went in together on an x-box another kid was selling so he could afford to buy the new x-box 360. That was, and still is, a great purchase. We absolutely got our money’s worth in the amount of playtime just on NCAA Football alone

Browning Auto-5 12 Gauge Shotgun. 13 years old. Earned money selling turtles,cutting grass,helping bricklayers,selling pears. Turtles is where I made the most. 100 a day at .35 - .50 cents each. Good money
