I think I played for Bettincourt for some all star team in Metry when I was 17 or 18.
But that was long ago and my memory is fading

I played for him at Lake Castle on Haynes. Then with the Raiders the year after.

I think played at LC from 75 to 76, then with the raiders in 77. I played for the Saints in 78. That's when I cut my right kidney almost in half.

I probably know you.

Give me your initials.

BTW: I'm 54.

My initials are RR
I am about to be 51, if we don't know each other I am sure we have mutual friends.
I grew up in Metry but did all school in Orleans. Played baseball at Jesuit 82 and 83.
Went out to Lake Castle during my senior year for a hitting clinic put on by Barry Butera

There's literally no way for me to remember all of them.

I'd venture to say 90%

This. if we are including childhood "trying" sports. Example, I had a pair of boxing gloves. Big bastards, but not big enough for kids of today. I had a pair and one other neighborhood kid had a legit OLD pair. His grandpa used to box so they were "for real" gloves. If only one of us was outside that day we each got a glove and could only use one arm. If we were both outside that day somebody was going home crying, or concussed.

If that counts then it would be easier to list shite I haven't tried. 1979-1987 were my prime kid years.

We even had an old tube for a Combine tire at my grandpas. that was my cousins and I "wrestling ring". My cousin was actually big enough to suplex me. If a 55 gallon drum was available it was turnbuckle and Super Fly Snukka time. I jumped off of a drum with a 3-4' step ladder on it once. It ended poorly.

Does that count for "trying" pro wrestling? The ONLY thing we did not do was cut our own forhead with razors. But if one of us did bleed?? It was glorious.
