Ascension Parish resident here:
1. Build additional Dutchtown High entrance via Carrie lane (HWY74) eliminating left turns into the school
2. roundabouts....roundabouts everywhere, especially on Burnside
3. The BR, Ascension, Livingston interstates could use service/frontage roads allowing local traffic connections without overtly merging onto the interstate. Way too expensive to build now though

An upgrade to the entire interstate system across the United States.
Not saying that the whole thing needs to be rebuilt, I am just saying going through and upgrading all areas that need it (although you said besides the cluster that is the need for an additional BR bridge, it is an example of all the areas I am talking about.
I am sure there are some things they could adjust in Los Angeles. And in areas in and around DC.
