I don't know. That's a pretty decent risk/reward for an international shipment
It's shocking to me that $1.3B worth of drugs would be shipped together. That seems like terrible risk management.

Cops always exaggerate the street value of drugs. Seems like a bad idea to ship all at once but I am guessing this strategy saves costs and has probably been working for years. Profit for the many that get through likely well outpaces the risk.

I’d love to hear from someone who actually knows about risk management.
Let’s say the risk is 25% of getting busted.
Would you slowly ship things through knowing that once 1 bust happens they have uncovered your plan
Or
Send one big shipment through with a 75% chance of not having to send anymore for awhile.
I think option 2 is smarter

Thinking about this more.
They definitely can’t scan every single container leaving the country. They scan a certain percentage of them and hope to get lucky.
That means it’s definyely best to send one huge shipment. It’s probably just one container full. It wouldn’t make sense to send partially stocked containers, if they check yours you are fricked anyway.
