I am willing to bet someone in Foster Campbell’s or Francis Thompson’s family works for the meter company. 1.5 year project takes 15 years to pay off. Government at its finest!!!

Entergy is apparently installing meters which will allow them to collect usage data electronically, "eliminating the need for employees to visit a meter attached to a structure and record usage."

Wont even have to pass by in a car. Its all remotely controlled in an office. Been that way in Houston for about a decade.
