Thousands upon thousands of overpaid people on parish and state payrolls. Not only overpaid but underqualified.
It makes for the decisions youve seen the last 30 years quite honestly.

I firmly believe that we need to start treating government corruption as more than a white-collar crime. It needs to see hard jail time and potentially the death penalty in the most egregious cases. Right now it’s a slap on the wrist.
Either mandatory life sentence or death.

Again someone misinformed, We pay ad valorem tax on wells and landowners also pay ad valorem tax on the land where wells are located. In numerous locations the ad valorem tax on the wells is many times the amount the landowners pay. Again just trying to inform this board of some of the contributions independent operators contribute to the economy. Not trying to argue the terrible problem orphan wells present. If proper financial security was required many years ago this would not be a problem. Now there are thousands of orphan wells. Can’t put that GENIE BACK IN THE BOTTLE.

I’ve heard LORA has been raising red flags for a while now in its legitimacy. So much so that multiple complaints were made asking the state to investigate.
