What was his reasoning for doing so in the first place? He panicked or what?

he wanted to shoot someone

Yes that was murder but why was the guy running from him in the first place?

To get away and not be arrested?

Still doesn't mean he should be murdered or even shot at.

so running from the police is punishable by death? bootlicker

The guy was too far for the tazer so the cop only had one more option to capture him. Why was the guy running if he wasn't guilty?

this is just speculation, but hear me out...he didn't want to go to jail.

I know, right?

If he was innocent he wouldn't have gone to jail. His running was an admission of guilt. He was probably running to go commit another crime

No it doesn't mean he should have been murdered, I totally agree with you on that. I was just wondering why he chose to run in the first place? Running from the police usually never ends well.

Yeah, that's why you aim below the waist and try to catch a leg

1 of 2 things can only be the case here

1- he was out for a quiet morning jog near the water

2- he didn't want to go to jail

it doesn't end with being shot, unless you also have a weapon. In this case, fat and lazy cop couldn't run him down, so he gunned him down. Everyone understands you shouldn't run from the police, bud.

Correct verdict and sentence. But also, we need to stress the importance of compliance. Compliance tends to get lost with all the political rhetoric.

They'll have to put him in protective custody. An officer in general population would not be good.

Memo to bad guys everywhere: keep running away from cops and you're safe from their guns.
