Yea, I am married and she is a dime. Much better that you probably will ever do. I’m also a vet, been to war and seen more of the world than you probably ever will. This was my thing man, take care of life rather than take it. Don’t know why you feel the need to be a dick. I guess it’s my fault to try and vent here where everyone has a perfect life.

I mean she should either know how to operate/handle that type of situation or stay out of it. It's fine she meant well, but she should know it's best to leave it up to you.

Yea that’s the thing. I should have done it. I’m working this week and I always clean it on the 1st. I don’t know what she was thinking. I can’t be mad at her but I can’t help but be infuriated. It’s a catch 22. I’m the dick if I get mad at her. It’s just fricked up.

If you are all those things then you shouldn't be worried about replacing the fish. It's OK to get it off your chest.
But next time you need to teach your wife how to take care of something you care so much about. Or you tell her not to mess with it. She was just trying to help you and you can't really take the fish's side over your wife. Sucks about your pets, but there are plenty of fish in the sea.
