A comfortable chair on the porch, a nice rain, & a bottle of good bourbon is a great freakin vacation in my book.

Go white water rafting. I highly recommend River Runners out of Buena Vista Colorado. Do the Numbers and Browns Canyon on the Arkansas River.

I'll be in South Fork (Southern CO) next week. It's 50-60% all week there too. It mainly rains in the afternoons where I will be.
