Have any of you guys ever tried stabbing a tire thru the tread? Aside from the fact that the wheel arches get in the way of any type of leverage, the rubber in the tread is incredibly tough.
He ran over that knife. The other holes were probably from pieces of the handle stabbing into the tire as it came apart.

Yeah I never slashed a tire, but was surprised someone would try through tread. Thought you would cut yourself like that

If someone was going to stab your tire wouldn't they cut the sidewall? Why try to go through the tread.

Thru the tread is also thru the steel belting or kevlar. Its the most likely place to have the knife fail or fold onto your knuckles AND you need some major momentum or strngth to get cheap blade thru belt.
Usually people that slash tires also slash multiple tires to jack the costs up.
