I would advise him to ask the girl for a pre-natal paternity test since they are not in love, not getting married etc. Obviously volunteer to pay for it. If they are his kids and she wants to keep them, then well, he's a father. Be a father.

Just got off the phone w/ him. I asked him what his primary motive is, and he basically told me that he doesn't want any kids and is looking for a way to avoid paying child support. He asked about the military because he was hoping that they'd cover the child support. His biggest concern is that once his grandparents find out about it, they are going to cut him off financially because an unplanned pregnancy isn't part of their "plan" for him. I told him that if that's the route he wants to take, I can't help him anymore.

She's been hysterical over the whole thing, mainly because she can't believe his stupidity. We've always told him to wear protection, and we've even given him boxes of condoms. His response was, "She said she was on the pill"
