Hopefully he doesn’t get hemorrhoids from sitting on his arse too much.
Relax, it’s not like He’s fighting the luftwaffe Or dodging Japanese zeros.

My oldest left for the Air Force at the beginning of December. Advice? Thoughts? I don’t need any shitty advice or stupid comments from anyone, as this is hard enough on a Mom. Keep your inappropriate thoughts to yourself, please.
howd I do ?

I assume you are asking about advice on dealing w his departure, I don’t really get this.
I have three kids including a 21 year old. If we raise them right they head out in their own at 18 years old. They should be ready to handle their life. And it is THEIR life, not yours. Let them live it

Ok now we know what it is exactly what you wanted from us.
I wish I could help you, I’m sorry.

Need to fit “quivering” and “pulsing” in there

Been a while but I’m glad I did it. Like others have pointed out, it’s the Air Force. Nothing physically challenging. Your son made a damn good decision. Be proud.
What career field did he choose?

Especially with an opening post like that.

You’re right...I should have thought twice about asking for grown-up advice from children. My bad.

What is basic in the Air Force? 6 weeks?

Your son walked out of that door a boy and will come back a man, so don't expect him to come home unchanged. Be thankful that he chose a good path in life, many kids don't. I know that it will be difficult not having him home for the holidays, but that is the case for anyone who has to work for a living, not just those who enlist in the military.
Your work is done taking care of him now, so focus on taking care of yourself...he will be fine.
