Son you cut your own pets hair so they don't get hit by cars?
Makes perfect sense

Only because TN started it. If it were anybody else, I'm sure it wouldn't be so bad.

It's a dog, not a human. Should not be allowed to sue.

Very sad. My dad saw one of our labs get hit by a car when I was 10, it was his fault, walking the dog around the neighborhood without a leash.

About a year ago, one of my buddies in-laws left their dog with the groomer, dog escaped without a collar and was never seen again. They'd had the dog for 7 years and then poof.

My car is not a human but if someone is negligent and totals it I can and should sue them.

Are your parents going to take any legal action? I hate pulling the "sue" card, but I would sue the frick out of them if it happened to me. No excuse for that.

I hate that people can get sued for this. Did the vet throw the dog into the street? No. It was an accident. It ran into the street like a jackass. The vet should offer to buy them a new dog.

So, they let her loose to run to your parents... but instead the dog ran into the street?

lol that's funny

Parents weren't visible. Lady assumed that the dog would run to the house instead of getting excited about being on the ground outside (mobile groomer: van was parked in the street).

Pretty sure the title and first 2 pages have only mentioned a groomer.

Why shouldn't they be able to sue them though? The dog cost money and is legally viewed as property. You'd probably pay more for the lawyer but you can and should be able to do it if you want.

I mean, that sucks and all, but my dog doesn't ever play in traffic. He won't even step foot in the street unless I tell him. I don't even own a leash.

I'd be pissed, but I wouldn't sue someone because of my dog's stupidity

That is so stupid. There are millions of dogs that don't listen to shite that don't get run over. This groomer fricked up.

Bruh! No need to get mad. IT'S A DOG. There are several dozen better looking ones over at the shelter waiting to get put down. Just get a new one, and maybe train it to listen this time, so when it leaves the grooming van it comes to you and doesn't run out in front of a car.
