Doubt it. A friend's shi tzu ate a whole box of World's Finest that her son was selling. Didn't kill it, but it did puke and shite it out all over her brand new carpet.

Dog owners are some of the most inconsiderate people I’ve ever met. I can’t even walk down Magazine St for happy hour without some mutt jumping up at me while the dog owner is sitting there with a big smile on their face.

Just sounds like a terrible dog owner. Same case with OP’s owners. Wouldn’t have these issues with muh mutt

that will only make sick for few hours. Have to give dog chocolate over the course of several days for what you are saying.

Why can't you just make friends with the dogs, be nice, talk to them, throw them a treat or a bone (with the owners permission) every once in a while? The dogs should get used to you eventually.

My landlord had a huge boxer that I had to see everyday. So I would stop and pet him, give him a treat. The dog ended up being really cool with me. It just takes time..

Why should I have to? Not everyone is an animal lover.

I'm not a dog or pet lover. But there are things people should do to be a good neighbor. Its part of living in a respectful, peaceful society. Turning the other cheek or being the bigger person and compromising is the right thing to do. No doubt better than torturing or killing some defenseless animal..

My dogs bark. I make them come inside and smack them on the head. Yeah, they may bark for 10 minutes or so if I am doing something, but they are coming in.

The only time I leave them out barking any amount of time is if they have been couped inside all day. Say the neighbors are outside next door.... They will have to deal with the barking for half an hour. I will be telling the dogs to shut up during that time though.

ETA: I have 5 rotties.

Shotgun neighbors, plant drugs, adopt sweet dogs. It’s a win all around!

You sound like someone who has never been woken up by barking dogs. Night after night after night.

Try going 2-3 weeks with out sleeping then come back on your high horse and tell us about turning the benevolent cheek.

Only TRASH lets their dogs bark without trying to control them. This is not up for discussion.

You want to talk about being a good neighbor and being respectful..keep your dogs inside, and don't let them bark at the wind.

I’ve heard a couple benadryls inside of a raw ground meat ball work well. Won’t kill the dog. Everyone sleeps. Problem solved...for one night at least.
