I’m going through this with my mom right now. She is only 70 though. It seems like the last three months the life has been drained out of her. It’s fricking horrible. I’m not dealing with this shite well.

My parents died six months apart.
I totally agree with your comment on being able to chose euthanasia. My father had left a loaded, cocked gun ten feet from his bed. I chose not to move it, but at the end he died drugged in hospital.

Sorry to hear.
I had a similar experience when ex’s mom passed away. She had a rear form of leukemia. It was hard to witness. It seemed like she was just skin and bones. Sad, sad sight. My ex was in pieces, so fricked up to watch and be absolutely helpless.
Again, sorry to hear but at least her pain is gone.

Sorry for your loss. Watched both my parents deteriorate and die of cancer. I agree with your euthanasia statement. Watching your parents waste away is terrible and the worst thing I have ever experienced.

Sorry. It’s horrible and I dread seeing another loved one go through it. If you pray, keep going. It’s not only for them but yourself

I lost my mom and dad to cancer as well. Thankfully my mom went in the night in her own bed and we didn't have to go thru the wasting away stuff with her. But when my step dad died 4 years later he was in hospice for almost 3 weeks and that was horrible.

Really sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my dad at a young age to cancer also and it sucks.

I'm sorry. We will pray for you and your family. These are the hardest of times in life's difficult struggle. Hang on to the love and comfort from friends and family.
My Dad and Mom are both gone too. Toughest times I ever went through except when we lost our oldest daughter.
Genuinely sorry. Prayers.

Sorry for your loss. My friend lost his dad to Cancer, and he said it was harder watching him die from it than it was to lose him.
Prayers to your family.
