same here.

I have a long drive and if seeing her first I'll go out to pick it up. She seems to want to share a few words along the way. Has also made two trips a couple times after I warned her of a big box being in her future. Maybe she just knew I was home at home for the heavy lifting?

Little red jeep and she doesn't let anything get in her way.

My UPS driver doesn't. I just get an email that says "sorry we missed you". I'm waiting for a return call from the local distribution center. Those union fricks don't give a shite.

Ours either. Our old mailman was great.
Ms. Lashonda (she always says Ms) isn't as good.

Update: no mail today either. Called the post office and got no answer. Guess I won't be getting mail until Friday when it's high 50s.

I make it a point to answer the door when she brings it up so she knows im not coming out to do her job for her.

I used to do that all of the time, especially as we got into the holiday season. This time of year, lots of folks like to play "follow the USPS / UPS package guys. This is how we do Christmas shopping."

ETA: I transferred out of Metry P.O. way back in 2005, just before Katrina. I still talk to friends / former co--workers back there and suffice to say that A LOT has changed. Back in Dec '89, I was working in the Old Metry area and I worked in the snow and the bitter cold days just before Christmas. Hell, the day when we got a lot of the snow, I was out watching all of the idiots trying to drive in the snow and ice in what ended up being a huge outdoor game of bumper cars. About 2 hours before I was due to finish, my supervisor was out on the route and told me I could go back in to the office and just resume delivery the next day. I told him, "honestly, I'd rather go ahead and finish. I feel safer out here than trying to go back and deal with these maniacs."

Mine acted the same way. I watched her drive past the house one day and 10 min later I got an email from amazon saying there wasn't anyone home to sign for the package. Eventhough it didn't require a signature. Needless to say after multiple times I started calling the postmaster. Come to find out I wasn't the only one calling to complain.

We have a new mailman now and stuff shows up on time.

Maybe it's different now...but when I still worked, Amazon packages specifically had "leave if no response" instructions. Hopefully, she got wrote up for that...but I highly doubt it. Likely, they just assigned her elsewhere.

2 inches of snow, in Wisconsin, and the fricker didn't pick up yesterday. Could tell from the lack of tracks in the snow he didn't even stop by. (My shop is in a building with 5 other businesses)

He knows he has daily pickups from me. Prick.

Today he will have a very large pickup with a nice little note telling him to do his damn job.

I had a fat cow of a teacher who didn't teach when it was cold. All she did was bitch and complain. You know, your basic democrat. Dear God, I had some shitty teachers.

1) I always have mail, even if it's just some ads.

2) Other neighbors aren't getting their mail either.
