My Life Has Been Threatened

Earlier tonight I received a text saying "Hi, Stephen". I didnt recognize the number but responded with "Hey. How is it going?"
From there I get a text telling me someone has taken out a hit on me. That the hitman knows where I live, has pics of me, better not go to the police and so on. The goon squad continues with that I have two weeks to pay $15000 or I am dead.
Then they sent a video of some Mexican in a ninja suit calling me by my full name and holding an Ak-47 while telling me one of my so-called friends is who took out the hit.
Not sure what to think because I am annoyed they feel my life is only worth $15000. Plus I am wondering how they got my name because I dont put my name and/or phone number online.
Anyone have scammers try this one on you?

15K is really high for a cartel hit. You should go to the Valley and get a counter hit on them for about 6K. No bullshite.

One time I got a text that was just my name and a question mark. I didn’t answer and they never sent anything else so I wondered what the hell that was. Maybe it was a Mexican cartel ninja scam too.
