My daughter graduated last year has a great job and still lives at home.

She can save an additional 20-30k a year by staying home.

A couple of years at home will allow her to put some significant money away that will help her long into the future.

I've encouraged her to do this.

A year or so ago didn't your kid want to go to a good school and you said no?

my SIL (wife's twin-no pics) still lives with my in-laws and she is 32. She has no desire to leave and they don't make her pay any rent. She has a job, but never has any money so they cover other bills for her as well. My father in law told me that they have named my wife as the executor of their will and have left the house to my wife. I basically told him I wished they hadn't have done that because I know I will have to be the a-hole that evicts my SIL in the event something happens

It sounds like she may have a mental discorder or some kind

Pardon the derail...but your opinion on vintage Sicura chronographs? why so cheap on the bay?

Breitling gave them a name that Sicura couldn't give them. And instant brand recognition especially right now. The movements are essentially the same.

Lazyness, pure and un-adulterated lazyness. She never had to try for anything and never had any desire to make something of herself. She likes the bake and cook and my in-laws have said they would pay for her to go to culinary school. Nope, she is fine with being a waitress and the UGA hotel. She is dating a guy that has no job and lives at home with his mom. He can't drive so she is his chauffeur and gives him money for new video games. I just keep my mouth shut at family functions and preserve the peace.

So if I said, hey. TheIndulger, here's a paid off house. You can live there for free and save money for other shite.

You'd say, "nah BeerJeep. I'm good. Id rather spend my paycheck on rent."

Yeah. I'm absolutely calling bullshite.

I didn't do this, but I understand why people would.

Housing is super expensive and it gives you a chance to save enough money for a down-payment.

A lot of cultures have done this "live with parents until married" thing forever.

For who? Free rent was always a good idea for those that were getting the free ride.

What I thought. A few look like a lot of watch for the price, and I wouldn't imagine a lot of fake Sicuras floating around out there.

Thanks

There are no fake Sicura but could be Frankenwatches. So be careful.
