He doesn’t look that big to begin with. Weight will come off more gradual in that case. He’s not rocked up but judging by his arms he does some sort of weight training or calisthenics

Women are lazy, undisciplined creatures. They blame their man for their failures. They thrive on being miserable.

Agreed.

Women are fickle creatures. They desire a high value, masculine male but recognize that kind of guy isn't going to place his sole value and validation in her.

So they settle for someone who has a lower market value, thinking they are living out the typical "dream" life of a married woman with kids. Then they begin to resent their sad sap of a husband as he devolves into a pile of grumpy putty.

But there's safety there. They too can relax and coast into their middle aged years when their natural beauty diminishes exponentially. So they push back against their husbands improving because it means they have to improve.

Because if they don't, why would their high value husband choose to stay? Especially if she has the personality type to resent the guy for bettering himself?

Scruffy’s knows a guy who had a similar problem, but the wife went out of her way to sabotage him.

Tried to lose weight and eat healthy. His wife would buy pizzas and ice cream and constantly tempt him with them.

She was jealous of his weight loss.

He gained it all back and more.

Same thing happens to all spouses. When one makes a radical change(looks, weight, wealth, fame) the other senses the power dynamic shift and grow uncomfortable.

Let me fix it for you:

quote:

She was jealous of his weight loss.

She shite tested him by putting unhealthy foods in front of his face. If was serious about being healthy, he would deny those foods and continue on his mission to get healthy and fit. She would then recognize that he was leaving her behind and if she wanted to keep her new hunk of a man, she would have to put the work into herself to get healthy too.

But he was weak and not serious about his mission, so he succumbed (probably resentfully) to his wife's gluttonous temptations.

He gained it all back and more.

He spends his days thinking about what he almost did and what he's soon going to do.
