You can find what you have security to using a simple Google type search on the web app....mobile is kind of lagging behind in the availability of functionality but that's because they want mobile to actually work and not just throw shite at it.

Open enrollment will be available on mobile in October.

I'm hearing LSU is about to use Workday for everything (finance, HR, and academic administration). I'm sure nothing will go wrong with that implementation.

It depends on who you have working on it....if you have a shitty implementation partner and dumb employees designing it then yea it will suck.

We recently transitioned to workday. I agree that it is not intuitive. The transition was not fun, but it is getting better.

Across the board workplace software sucks for the majority. A decade ago there was a mad scramble to e-everything and too many crappy designs hit the market and were sold.

Upvote. Workday and SAP should be killed by fire.

I use Workday, and have always found it pretty intuitive and user friendly

So, I’m realizing that the Worday setup is unique to every company’s “requirements”.

Well, we did a horrible job at that

It's possible that your HR or Payroll Director does not allow edits to be made from the user's end. It may appear that they do on your end - but on their end, no changes are saved. And if this is the case, the edit or save button should be "grayed" out to prevent any kind of unnecessary confusion.

I know Schumacher Group uses it. If any of the baws on here know much about the pipeline construction industry in here then they would know that there is only about one pipeline construction company in LA that is large enough to warrant purchasing Workday...that's who I work for.

BCBS was thinking about doing it at one time but I'm not sure what they did. Amedisys was going to go to Workday too but I think they let PeopleSoft convince them to go to their half assed cloud system. I think H&E uses Workday too. I'm certain there are more....some of Workday's more famous clients include Aon, Walmart, Amazon, HP, etc.

If we're being truthful here most do....I started this job when they were implementing Workday. In the first meeting I attended I wanted to throw up this sign:

ETA Most companies try to shoe horn their HR/payroll policies into Workday which is OK to an extent, but you have to be open to "HR transformation" when implementing something like this.....Most HR managers and execs aren't ready for that.

ETA2 I forgot to mention one of the best things about Workday...their yearly conference. I'm hearing that it might be in Vegas this year. It was in Chicago the last two years and was legit. I got to see ZZ Top 2 years ago. There are a ton of hot chicks at this thing.

I just saw it today working on a report where someone wanted employee pictures on it for some unbeknownst reason.

That's a horrible idea for most companies that can't handle the amount of consistent custom developmemt required to make all the systems talk.

Well, I didn’t suggest it for them, so...
