I know people that worked in downtown Miami and would register for a class at the community college. This allowed them to use the school parking garage which was cheaper than paying for parking downtown.

Would think AI will crush demand for computer science (programming, in particular).
This is not my area of expertise but I would be aiming for jobs/careers that don’t yet exist (post AI) vs traditional.

And yes he’s completing courses while not paying a dime on his loans.
I think most people are missing this point.
My buddy worked with a chick that had like 4 degrees from shite schools because as long as she was still enrolled there was some deal where she wasn’t having to pay or the interest was deferred.

Grifting
You’ll eventually have to pay back the loans and there is a cap on the number of credit hours you can take before financial aid is cut off completely.
Some people in my fraternity had this down to an art form to where they stayed in college for longer than Bluto Blutarsky.

So instead of getting a job doing anything to establish a salary history and build a resume, he’s choosing to do nothing and wrack up more debt?
Yeah, he’s a moron. Or just lazy.

Is my friend being smart or just grifting?
If you are seriously asking neither of you got much from the American education system.
