Use the chat feature and tell them that the regular price is out of your budget. I'm paying $20/month for 2 radios right now.

Hey, leave Meg alone. I love her work on the Beatles channel but she does get mundane and drones on at times.

She has nothing on Tom Morrelo. frick that guy.

Mike Terry on Prime is arguably the best DJ on the entire network. Great voice.

Alan Hunter: he announced last year he was getting off of Twitter/X “because Elon is a meanie”

Douche, I haven’t listened since

Not familiar with him but he can't be much worse than Madison or Tom Morelo on Lithium.

XM's glory days was Jason Ellis on Faction. I think his show was pretty downhill towards the end though.

i listened to him and Covino and Rich whenever they were on. Douche bags, but I had some laughs.

Jason Ellis was on a podcast debate the other day and i had to double fake to see if it was THAT Jason Ellis

I used to cancel every few months and they'd offer me yet another free trial...then I realized it was $20 a month and not worth the hassle. No longer have it though....spotify and apple music and just streaming works better for me now. Used to enjoy the XM College Sports channel...lots of good talk shows on there for a few years.

Glad this thread popped up. It reminded me I needed to get my rate back down. As recommended, I used the chat function online. Took 2 minutes to lock in a rate under $10 per month for the next year.

Somewhere $5-7 after calling to cancel. I think a dealership can re-up you too if you know someone.

Glad you brought this up. I just traded in an old truck and needed your reminder to cancel the subscription with that vehicle. Didn't realize it had gone from $7.99/mo to $24.99/mo. It's most definitely not worth that!

The wife's car is also on the $24.99/mo plan, so when I started to cancel that one as well they offered the same plan at $7.99/mo. Definitely go online and start the cancel procedure. They'll offer you a better deal as others have mentioned in this thread.

Another option to completely get away from Sirius/XM would be to utlize your Apple CarPlay or Android App to connect your phone to the radio if your car has that option and to use that for your music subscription with Pandora, YouTube Music, Spotify, or whatever streaming music/podcast service you may prefer.

It's literally all she does. Constantly. Not sure how you can say the first part of your sentence and then follow it with the second part.

She is awful and just talks and talks and talks about absolutely nothing, and in her weird-as-frick cadence of how she speaks. It makes me irrationally angry.

When she comes on my five year old son is like "Dad, isn't that the lady you don't like?"

You can get them to give you an introductory rate if you want to mess with that every few months. Most posters talk big however, the vast majority of the world pays about $25 per month. I typically subscribe during football season, because that’s when I drive a lot.

Thanks for reminding me. I just checked and my bill jumped up to $24 a month. I just logged on, and the AI assistant immediately dropped my bill amount to $7.99 a month when I asked about it.

Curious what you listen to on XM. I’m nearly 100% podcasts on Bluetooth from my phone while driving.

I dropped them 5 years ago when I quit traveling full time for work. They email me offers for $3/month for 2-3 years every week.
