Don't put your phone number in the add, and never give someone your personal email address.

craigslist started to suck when they banned HTML ads. I used to put in ads with phone numbers and all and bots never got them. I sell stuff there time to time. I can tell a bot email from a regular one usually (second one not a bot, lol)
Craigslist is full of lowballers. I would never talk price until I lay eyes on the vehicle though. I hate people that just send offers without checking it out.
When you do meet always have back-up with you.
I sell more than I buy, and haven't had many problems. Still I bring my "2nd amendment loving" buddy with me when I go to look at something.

The text message I got about my truck on Craigslist was "would u take 13k for it?". The guy showed up the next day with cash. If you're going to sell on the Internet don't be so shocked people use modern forms of communication, grandpa.

don't go alone, yeah be armed, but don't go alone. A lot of people have been getting shot over cars lately being sold online. It's sickening.
