What is the proper protocol for going through a checkpoint? Can't you refuse to roll down your window or something?

Avoid it, always pull a u turn or turn down a side road before you get to the checkpoint

Couple years ago I had an issue at that checkpoint
Did the license eye test after I told him I had no drinks. He said I was lying and that he has been doing this 20 years and can tell I would fail the breathalyzer if he have it to me
Said I don't know what to tell you I didn't have anything to drink. Waved me through saying next time I'm going to jail

Supposedly you can refuse the test at a checkpoint and request your lawyer

Yep, so when you come over the overpass there's nowhere to go. We rolled through around 11:30 when they were getting setup. Best bet is to get off at Florida blvd if there's a chance
