This is correct response; it would taken less
Time to call emergency vet to tell them he’s on way than it did to type all these posts on TD, where let’s be real honest, most of yall are fricking jealous of Corky from life goes on.

Imagine your pup was being “watched overnight “ by OP and this happened. Would you still say “it’s ok not your fault I’m sure he still loves you” if it was your dog???

Either OP didn’t want to make drive and be up late at vet, didn’t want to pay for vet medical bills, or both. He knew it was serious enough to engage you Einsteins.

Not trying to pile on. But replace “dog” with “kid” and tell me if the response are the same. If not, why?

And the result would be the same if the same steps were taken.

But the response in this thread would have been different. The reason he didn’t get an answer for treatment over the phone is due to liability just like human medicine.

Unnecessary comment at this point. Don’t be a bitch.

Multiple people were telling him to get in the car with the dog and take him to the emergency vet. Gave him names of clinics... addresses... everything. Apparently, he'd rather call and ask them and then whine about them not giving him an answer over the phone. Bottom line, he was told, after posting about his dog and all.. to take the dog to the emergency clinic. I'm guessing he didn't. I'm sorry the dog had to go through that. I really am. I'm sorry for the dog. Nobody's being a bitch, though.

My point is that I’m sure he realizes it now. No need for some of these people to continue to pile on. Dude has had a tough few days.

Oh, I'm sure of it. Anyways, sorry the dog had to go through that and sorry for Will's loss. I know what it's like to lose a dog. Doesn't matter the reason, you still lose the dog and it still sucks.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. I know it's heart-wrenching right now, but thought you'd like to know a bit about my story.

I lost mine in a gut-wrenching way during Covid. The after-hours vet in Prairieville refused to let me go in while they put her down. To say it was horrible is an understatement.

Like you, I was crushed.

A few months later, a friend sent me a rescue needing immediate help—another senior pug like mine. I drove 500 miles the very next day to get her. I am her 3rd home. She was abused and scared to death. She shook and whined the entire way home.

Now she's a spoiled rotten smelly old thing who is currently snoring like an old man on her dog bed as I type this.

I am convinced my Loo sent her to me to heal my heart and my new dog's heart too. When the time is right, Izzy will do the same for you.

love to you. -- and all dogs always go to heaven.

I disagree. I mourned my last dog as much as I would one of my children.

What are you talking about? Nobody is insulting him and being ugly, they’re being realists.

They don’t give advice over the phone for a reason and told him he would need to bring her in or call poison control.

He decided to not bring her in unfortunately

The people saying shite like this either don’t have children or are pretty shitty parents.

Sorry, I'm simply not interested in discussing this tragedy anymore.

Have a blessed day.
