I may be in the minority here but I couldn't be with a girl who was with my buddy. It's just too awkward. Even if she's hot because it's not like there isn't an abundance of attractive women in America. Why feel the need to get with the one your buddy has been smashing is my opinion.

And to my second point, I'd be mad if I was the husband because the time frame. It would always be uncomfortable (how awkward would BBQ's and shite be at your buddy's and ex wifes house) but considering it was only two weeks, that's messed up. They didn't suddenly become attracted in the two week time span so they probably were flirtatious and stuff before the divorce even happened. Either eay it's a violation of bro code and your boy should feel bad.

Yea he asked me if they could continue and keep it casual and my answer was there was no way and some one would figure it out.. These people aren't idiots.. Also we went out last night with the husband and had drinks.. This was before I knew anything

There are some things you just don't do. There are lines that you just don't cross.

Best friends ex no, "buddies", case by case basis.

My buddy just told me he slept with his buddies ex wife (known both of them for 10 years) last Saturday night.. The divorce has been final for a week maybe two.. What is the bro code on this? Any chance if anyone finds out he won't loose some friends over this

As much as it hurts, he doesn't own the woman, nor does the woman own the man. Once a relationship is dead, anybody's game.

Honestly I don't see a problem. They're exes, get over yourselves. As for the bro code. What is this shite? Some arbitrary rules that men keep between themselves like women with The Rules that would get tossed the moment his ex sent you nudes? That type of BS? lulz

It has nothing to do with the actual sex. It's the principle of the thing. No kind of man with even the slightest moral code would sleep with a friend's ex-wife after a week of being divorced, especially with children involved.

I mean come on, the guy's life is falling apart - he's your friend - and you're so eager to nail the mother of his children that you can't wait more than a week?

That's fricking pathetic.

It's more of a respect thing. Marriages don't just end and the feelings die when the ink dries. People need time to heal. A good friend would help in that healing, not bury his pecker in his friends wife.

That's illegal in all 50 states.

Your buddy is a dipshit.

If he fricked her so soon, he was definitely fricking her before the divorce.
