Hermosa and Redondo more so than Manhattan but I'd bet he didn't hang in Manhattan as often. The vibe there is different.

I don't want to sound mean or harsh but the first picture of him does not look at all like the more recent. I've seen enough people on drugs and he has that look in his face along with the dark circles under his eyes and gaunt skin. Skin looks very sallow too. He may have gotten involved with something bad or owed someone money for something. I wish you and your family the best of luck. Please keep us updated.

Hermosa Pier mainly but Redondo too. He worked at HT Grill and formerly at Hennessy Tavern on the pier. He had friends that lived in Manhattan beach that he would go visit often but that’s about it.

How did you find out about the citation?
How big is the Hermosa Beach PD? They should absolutely be able to find out which officer wrote that citation. What did that cop see? What was the citation for? What conversation did the cop have with your brother? Etc.

He didn’t have some extensive drug history so we’re hoping that isn’t that case but again we can’t take anything off the table bc the entire situation hasn’t made much sense. And that picture of him on the missing poster is the most recent (a year or so)

Sampson, as someone in property management, see if you can run his credit report and see if you can find the complex or company that ran his credit to see if he met qualifications to move in. If there is no activity there, maybe he wasn't moving at all and was hiding something bc mostly all credible landlords run some type of credit check

His kid is too young for him to have spoken about anything like this. I appreciate the sentiments and I also understand the picture perceptions. Just hoping it was the lighting more than the reality

If that's the case, then he has friends still on the pier working. All of those places are close and the staffs from each place know each other and hang out. Did you speak with people from like Playa Hermosa across the pier from Hennessy? Levi, the owner of Playa, is an awesome guy and knows everyone.

Lots of booze and drug abuse in restaurant/bar industry and they usually all party together. I’d do some digging with his restaurant associates. Someone may possibly know if he was having issues

He had been battling some depression lately yes but nothing as far as taking his life. I spoke to him the day he made that post and he was in high spirits and sounded like he was genuinely turning his mentality/life outlook around. I think his last relationship that had ended recently after 3/4 years had a lot to do with that.
