All you have to do is get a lawyer and ask for shared custody. In order for her to get full custody, you have to (1) dont ask for shared custody and (2) not have a record of being abusive to the child or mother.
She will try to bait you with a domestic violence charge to be safe. Stay away from her or have a witness or cell phone camera ready.
You've already demonstrated that you share custody with her. That's half the battle.

If in Louisiana they will look at the charts showing what 1 child's liability will be based on your combined income, and what percent of that income is your vs hers. then if you have 1/3 custody and she has 2/3 custody, then calculate what child support is worth.
it is cut and dry if custody does not change. but lawyer up if she is going for more custody time as that will increase your child support payments.
IE if your combined income is $5000 a month, and she makes $2000 and you make $3000 then its a 40/60% split

You're fricked. You need to get an attorney and get an agreement worked out ASAP. Child support is going to be determined by a time with child vs income comparison, so get ready to pay.
But not having an agreement puts you at serious risk. You could get home, go to pick the child up and the mom say, "well I don't think so this trip." And there isn't a thing you can do about it. I know because I made the same mistake as you. NEVER TRUST man. Get that shite in writing and enforceable by the courts.
