Certainly one of the stupidest takes I’ve seen in a while. Guess he cried shoe! Shoe! Float after float and came away empty.

The parade took so long to pass because Chaos’s ratchet arse float broke down. It seems every year one of those ancient relics has a mechanical problem.

Riders across all parades are throwing less beads, in general, since nobody wants to catch beads anymore. Money is being spent more on specialty throws

True dat.
For those who may not know, Chaos is a direct lineage of the old Momus parade which quit after the Dorothy Mae Taylor crap in the 1990s. The leaders and members of Chaos are mostly sons of former Momus riders, they have the same parade slot (Thursday night), they have the same widespread use of satire in float names and design...
...AND they use the the same float bases/frames from Momus, which have old wagon wheels instead of rubber tires and date back to the late 1800s...

Yeah it sucked this year. Parade took forever. At one point it took 15 minutes between floats and it was moving…just really slooooow. And they didn’t throw shite. My wife and I were directly across from Jack Rose on the sidewalk side and we had numerous floats pass by our section that didn’t throw a single thing. Not even one bead. It made the whole vibe suck…didn’t seem like anyone in the crowd was having fun. We finally gave up and left around 11 due to sheer boredom.

I made a tactical decision to leave after Chaos. Glad I did. The Muses pretentiousness on social media is off-the-charts.
