Murphy seems to be Broome’s hand puppet. It’s telling that he lives in a neighboring parish (semi-exclusive golf community in Ascension) rather than inside of the city he is paid to protect. Very typical of libs.

Research how Murphy Paul made it into LSP. It’s not similar to how others did.
Everyone knows why he was hired. Just as anyone in the know undersrands the influence of Raymond Jetson on our Mayor.
Look at what they did with BRAVE Funding. Baton Rouge was doing progressive, data driven policing using science and statistics...and it was WORKING to reduce crime in the worst zip codes for said crime in the City Parish. There was real data-tangible evidence-that BRAVE made the worst areas and most dangerous parts of Baton Rouge safer.
...and one of Broome’s first acts in office was to defund the science and data driven modeling at LSU and order Law Enforcement to stop using it. She set her own community back years with a stupid, biased decision that was based on petty, bigoted racial identity politics and not on the health, safety and welfare of our community’s most at risk, dangerous areas.

Wow the Slug does not even live in the parish?
Maybe that is why he always looks like he is about to fall asleep it’s that long drive.

That is what stupid people do.

Man is clueless and s political hack.
You have the wrong person in the position.
Of course he does not live in BR he knows the crime rate out of control.
A chief needs to give his officers and supervisors autonomy to do their job in a legal again legal manner.
If a complaint comes through he or she or now day non identity alien should step in and that is their job.
In high crime areas you need to let your supervisors take chances letting them make decisions. They are the ones on the street.
BRPD Brave and the Sheriff had or has a similar program. The officers worked afternoon and evening shifts focusing on high crime areas.
Uniform patrol needs to build relationships with the community the serve. They cannot do this when you have extremely large districts where they are running from call to call stressed out.
If the judges keep slapping the major trouble makers, mid tier drug dealers, and other thugs on the wrist what good is arresting them. The thugs laugh at these officers as they know they will be out in hours. This lowers the officers and deputy’s moral.
When the heat from middle class neighborhoods gets hot at city hall like oh we love our police officers. It cannot work both ways loving them and hating them the next week.

It's really sad to see what is continuing to happen in this city. The scumbags are completely out of control
..... How long will it take to kill the downtown resurgence Kip helped to achieve? Terrible to think a lot of once-dormant locations may one day return to that status....

SWB got rid of solid data-driven x's and o's. And then brought people like Gravy in...Silky. the likes.

Gravy took photos and PERSONALLY told the mayor and chief how concerned he was about night club crime.

I wish LeDuff would run for mayor. We need an old school, aggressive type of person in charge.

LeDuff, seemed to be a fair man.
You may or may not like his decision.
He seemed to have a good relationship with the officers.
He came up through the ranks and cared about the officers.
When you are out there in the streets you have to know someone has your back, if again, if you do your job in a legal manner.
I met him a few times when he was running or on the SWAT team. He came off as a fair guy. I worked with some pure pricks. He seemed like a good guy to work with.
I called him directly one time on an issue.
Saw one officer go into a bad situation.
Called him directly to pull that officer back and go in with Brave weapons ready. That one office would have been hurt or killed.
I think he lives outside the parish which means he could run for office in EBRP.

When I had properties in NBR I saw Brave in action it helped a lot.
I would say that was worth the money.
Personally, I seen just their presence in hot violence areas slow things down. Not perfect it slowed down problems around my properties.
Biggest positive moved the small street drug pushers back into homes and not in front of kids. A lot of the shootings were small deals going bad and they would shoot weapons in front of kids.
To be more effective they probably need one group in OLD SBR, Mid City more toward Florida Blvd/ North Foster / Choctaw, Scotlandville, Belaire, and Istrouma/Brookstown/Hollywood area.

BRPD a city and again a city police force.
The money should come from city funds and only city tax payers. If they want more money they should have an election to raise taxes for it inside the city only.
But we all know they are using parish funds now to pay for city services. That’s at the heart of their SG opposition.

The Mayor is primarily an administrator, and it really isn’t a political office.
Now Kip was a politician, but he hired people under him to run things.
Some of these people were better than others.
Kip failed to fully fund the PD. He didn’t raise pay and he didn’t keep the numbers up; although he did support the badge.
We need a mayor to completely overhaul the budget. All the social groups should be funded last. PD, FD, public works, and public safety should come first. We have too many leeches at city hall feeding st the though.
This will never happen. The politicians will feed the leeches who run all these social programs to help themselves rather than taking care of the basic duties of local government.

Broome believes in community policing, which has proven to be a failure in most cases. She got rid of the sitting police chief and replaced him with a puppet who also shares her fondness for racial quotas and law enforcement "reform." She runs a very black-centric administration, but conditions for the hard-working and law-abiding black citizens of Baton Rouge have only gotten worse during her time in office. There are plenty of people in NBR who are sick and tired of this mess. They need to step up and do something about it, because Broome has proven that she sure as hell can't. She's not doing her own community any favors by pandering to the criminals and low-lifes.

We need to be prepared if St George does not get the votes to have a good candidate ready to run for mayor..
One that will look out for the people white or black.
A house divided will not stand... Broome will go down it is just a matter of time..
Make Baton Rouge great again
