That's actually very smart thinking. Broome and her ilk will throw everything they have at St. George in an effort to stop it. If it fails, all is not lost, if Broome is voted out and a strong new mayor is voted in. Broome will pander to the lowest common denominator for votes. To beat her, south BR will have to get out and vote. The voter turnout in the southern part of the city/parish was pathetic. Now everyone sees the kind of mayor that voter apathy will get you.

Yes the South needs to get out and vote..
I really feel like the majority are oblivious to what is going on. As long as their little life is not being affected

Some facts.
In 1996 Tom Ed McHugh became the first elected mayor or mayor-president since reconstruction. In 2000 Bobby Simpson became the second.
There have only been two Republicans elected mayor or mayor president in over 140 years.
EBR has Democrat roots and it’s not because of race. That’s why a lot of old BR votes the way they do and why we keep electing Democrats.
Low turnout didn’t elect Broome, Democrats elected Broome.
Remember Hillary beat Trump 52% to 43% in EBR. Broome best White 52 to 48.
EBR is predominantly Democrat and it’s not all because of race.

I know him personally. He's all about the title, and knows very little about the actual function. He's going to parade around and make you call him Chief, but his actions are going to be bottom of the barrel quality.
Baton Rouge is screwed until this "dynamic duo" are replaced.

Dude is a joke. Can he name one positive thing he’s done for the city? Does he have a solution to prevent crime? Why do you decide to meet with the public when it’s your job to make the decisions? Why meet with the public when you have a pre-ordained solution?
It’s all a dog and dumbass show. Plays well for the advocate but sucks for the public. I cannot wait for Mr. Paul to be removed of his position once Broome is ousted.
