WBRZ said there was a note by his bed where he was found that said he can't live without his kids. They also said when police got there, the body was stiff, so he had been dead awhile. This makes me think possibly he shot himself, and Mathew came home and found him and then took the same gun and tried to kill himself.

Or the other guy killed him. Left his body there and wrote the note. Then tried to off himself or close to it to make it look like he didn't kill him.

He was proven innocent in England. Not sure what the deal was but he was being tried for the same thing here in America.

So we've gone from a murder-suicide because this man is a (alleged) kiddy-diddler (and that could well have meant a 16 or 17 yo) in Britain, to a possible double suicide after a man lost his career and adopted kids because (and I'm just speculating here) of paperwork issues resulting from him changing his name to distance himself from (possibly) false accusations in Britain...right?

What if this was nothing more than a gay man who killed himself because his kids were going to be taken from him because of a paperwork issue he knew he would lose, but was otherwise the good person that everyone thought he was?

I think the fact that he brought a kid with him from England and had his daughter marry him so as to not let anyone find out he was his lover blows your statement up a bit.

How would him being gay have any bearing on whether or not he was a good person.
Sure the daughter might have been a beard, but that's only because he would have had to marry a citizen to stay here.
