Yeah, he was found guilty of it in England. He came to the states with the two boys he adopted (one is still living, the other one is the one who killed Rodgers then himself).
Rodgers also had 2 children he adopted from the BR area. Authorities took them away by going pick them up from school one day.

He wasn’t found guilty in England. It was a hung jury after many character witnesses testified on behalf of Scott there.
The guys he brought to America were not adopted by him. They were “kidnapped” by him. He manipulated them by fear to make them stay under his control.

How did he kidnap the guy who shot him? The article I read from the BBC said that Rogers came to the US and eventually the guy came to the US to be with him. I'm fairly certain he was an adult when he came to the US.

I watched this weekend after seeing a preview. It’s amazing how it all unraveled. If he hadn’t said something ugly about that PR woman, she never would’ve written her letter to the editor which was found by one of his victims in England.
I don’t think I realized he (likely) convinced his “son-in-law” to do the murder/suicide. Or just how sick he was. It’s super messed up. You never know what’s happening behind closed doors.

The daughter was a good looking woman back in the day. The whole ubiquitous cable access Baton Rouge rah rah show was so over the top , it always just seemed off and weird as hell. But the fact that he had this “ daughter “ made him seem so much more conventional and normal. I just found it on demand and will watch with Mrs Pimp later.

In the video the guy basically said he was brainwashed to do whatever Scott wanted. Something like an army couldn't have separated him from Scott back then.
