I think you’ll all enjoy something the Sadvocate will be coming out with in the near future about it…

Give me 5 million dollars and I’ll get back to you in 2 years after I complete this study

I can do it in 18 months for 4 million.

A couple of blocks from the home I spent my childhood years of 3-16 at. Was just at St. Gerard for my grandmother's funeral. 70805 looks even more like a war zone these days and it wasn't great when I left in 1997.

Honestly after 120 it’s pretty much the same thing over and over.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Baton Rouge police have arrested a man on ten counts of attempted first-degree murder.

The multiple charges are because a shooting occurred in an area where at least ten people were present, investigators said.

The same individual is also being investigated for his alleged involvement in “other violent crimes” in the city, a law enforcement source said Thursday. BRPD is expected to release more details on the arrest later in the day.

Trying to finish strong with all day today and tomorrow to get to 170 homicides.

We made it to 170 already it seems. 175 might be within reach if we have a violent NYE.

One might have been reported in NBR that was not reported by the news. Could’ve sworn even with the double homicide that occurred in Brookstown the number would’ve been 169, given the double homicide was classified as negligent when a juvenile was booked for killing his 74 year old father and another elderly guy during an alleged accidental shooting.

Another possibility is someone who was in the hospital from a shooting, stabbing, etc ended up dying. Those are usually slowly reported on, if at all.

And negligent homicides still count towards that number. It’s not just murders, but negligent and even justified are included as well

Murphy Paul be like...

What baton Rouge needs is 170 arrests and some extended prison sentences. There are no real consequences for violent crime in Baton Rouge. The fault lies at the top.

What do you all believe is a "normal" (let's define this as "median" for the sake of this conversation) sentence for someone to have received who is arrested for 2nd Degree Murder in East Baton Rouge in the last, say, half decade? I'm honestly curious.
