At this point I no longer feel sorry for the victims. You know what you are getting into when you head to New Orleans. If one has to go to that jungle for work, it's one thing. However if you go for parades or pleasue that another.
There should be signs on the roads leading in to NO reading "Enter At Your Risk".
As the song says "you knew I was a snake when you took me in".

Fair. I have a 6 year old so don't trust leaving a gun within reach.

Why would you keep a gun in a vehicle in New Orleans

If they'd let you bring them in the Superdome there probably wouldn't be any in the parking lot.

If the people of new Orleans actually stood up for something, there would be less of a need to bring agun with you.

It's literally the people of new orleans' fault.

Who's got time for that shite during a break-in? It's not worth a crap if you can't get to it immediately.

Thought the dome was state run.

100%

Had the citizens of New Orleans stood up for their city years ago, rather than deflect, deflect, deflect, maybe this situation would have been prevented.

That parking lot is as safe as it gets. fricking scary

By New Orleans 3rd world shithole standards maybe. I don’t feel bad for anyone or anything that happens to anyone in that city. Everyone knows the risks by now. Until the national guard is brought in your life is at an elevated risk living and visiting there vs almost everywhere else in the US or the world for that matter.

NOLA is basically being run by mob rule. These animals have zero fear of authority and there is no calvary coming to save the fine citizens. I know a NOPD detective that told me the news reports just a fraction of the crimes and he could work 24/6 365 and still not put a dent in the number of cases there are.

Please don't put the guard in that position. Unless you put the city under martial law. They could be tried by jury in NOLA. They will end up in trouble for trying to help.

Yea, but let’s not so easily arm the problem? The guns sure do make things more problematic. And they aren’t protecting anyone sitting in the parking lot.

I wouldn't enter that shithole city unarmed and as far as I know, they don't let you carry weaponry through the security Checkpoint at the dome.

Didn't NOLA have a wave of carjackings in the recent past and a woman was dragged to death? You're advocating entering a war zone with no protection

You stored a gun in a glass box in the most dangerous city in America.

So if he didn’t have a gun in the glove compartment, his window wouldn’t have been busted? Got it.

That makes total sense.

Once again, zero acknowledgment of the problem and zero willingness to actually combat the problem.
